Since 2005, Vital Research conducts annual measurements of resident satisfaction in all 400 nursing home facilities in the state of Minnesota. Each year, more than 13,500 residents are interviewed during the 3-month data collection period. The results of the survey are made public and can be viewed on the Minnesota report card. In 2010, a family survey was conducted concurrently, resulting in over 16,000 completed paper, online, and phone surveys.

Southern California Presbyterian Homes

Vital Research conducts all resident, family and employee satisfaction surveys for SCPH, an industry leader in services for seniors. SCPH has been providing quality housing and healthcare for seniors since 1955. Currently, the organization serves more than 3,142 residents living in six Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), two Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly, three Assisted Living Communities, two Home Care Programs and 15 Affordable Housing Communities in California.


Ohio Department of Aging

The Ohio Department of Aging has commissioned Vital Research four times to interview residents in all nursing homes in the state. In 2007 and 2009, residents at Residential Care Facilities were interviewed as well, resulting in the completion of more than 30,000 face-to-face interviews. The results of the most recent survey are posted on the online Ohio Long Term Care Consumer Guide.


California PACE Association (CalPACE)

In 2010, CalPACE, the California PACE Association, released the Integrated Satisfaction Measurement Instrument (I-SAT 9.0). I-SAT gives PACE organizations across the nation the opportunity to receive feedback from participants about their satisfaction and quality of care provided. Vital Research is responsible for the implementation of the face-to-face survey process. Over 2,000 interviews have been completed at PACE organizations across the US.


Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services

On behalf of the Department of Aging and Disability Services, Vital Research will conduct 28,000 face-to-face interviews with nursing facility residents across 1,165 nursing facilities in 2011. Satisfaction surveys will also be mailed to each resident's primary responsible party (e.g., family member, friend). Findings will be used in the development and implementation of a statewide incentive payment program.


Loretto Services

As the largest provider of eldercare services in Upstate New York, Loretto's services include a broad spectrum of care from independent living and adult medical day programs to rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, with every option in between. Vital Research conducts direct consumer (residents and participants) and indirect consumer (families and employees) satisfaction surveys for 22 different programs at 17 sites.


Kisco Senior Living

Vital Research measures resident and associate (employee) satisfaction at 20 communities in seven states. Vital Research provides Kisco Senior Living with a customized survey process, including a menu driven Access database that allows the generation of reports for each of the communities, and includes in-depth demographic analyses.
